Should I prepare in advance for my tattoo?

Yes.
Decide exactly where you want your tattoo to be placed.
If this area needs to be shaved, please do it the day before your appointment.
Make sure this area is clean prior to your appointment

Eat a little food. If you have an empty stomach this can make you light headed.
Do not drink any alcohol or take any drugs prior to your appointment.
Try to avoid taking aspirin or antihistamines 24 hours prior to your appointment as these can thin your blood.
